Figure 2 Time course of the prefilter recombinant (r)-hirudin levels during in vitro hemofiltration. Starting from the same level at t = 0 min, the r-hirudin level (mean ± sd) declined more rapidly with F50 () compared with Nephral 200 (▪). The differences were statistically significant at time points 5, 10, 15, and 20 minutes (P < 0.05). The control experiments (lines) showed unchanged r-hirudin levels [(□) F50, (♦) Nephral 200].
