4 Key characteristics of good responsible business implementation
Transformative If a business truly desires to become sustainable, which means having zero or even positive impact, the implementation of responsible business has to be transformative. Profound change for most businesses is inevitable. Aligned Responsible business has immense potential to strengthen strategy and core business. Thus, a deep integration of responsible management activities throughout an organization’s strategic infrastructure is an indispensable must. Embedded, measured and controlled. Systemic Silo mentality is one of the most commonly experienced pitfalls in responsible management. Responsible management has to take the overall system of social, environmental, and economic factors into consideration. Collaborative Collaboration with the many different stakeholder groups inside and outside the company is indispensable. Laasch, O. & Conaway, R.
