0600 0900 1200 Summary: Risk of low stratus below 500ft in Kent and Sussex early morning but this clearing by Elsewhere the skies should be cloud free until the end of the morning when scattered to broken amounts of cumulus will develop above 4000ft. Heads up for the afternoon: Cumulus dissipating through the afternoon as temperatures rise, leading to increasingly clear skies for most, although a thin veil of high level cirrus develops in northwest France. - White: No cloud. Blue: Thin high cloud which should allow some sunlight through. Grey: Cloud which is likely to obscure the sun, but the base will be above 1500ft. Green: Cloud with base between 1000ft and 1500ft, likely obscuring the sun. Yellow: Cloud with base between 400ft and 1000ft, likely obscuring the sun. Amber: Cloud with base between 200ft and 400ft, likely obscuring the sun. Red: Cloud with base below 200ft, likely obscuring the sun.

0600 0900 1200 - Blue: Visibility greater than 15km. - Light Blue: Visibility greater than 8km but less than 15km. Grey: Visibility greater than 5km but less than 8km. Green: Visibility greater than 3.5km but less than 5km. Yellow: Visibility greater than 2km but less than 3.5km. Amber: Visibility greater than 1km but less than 2km. Red: Visibility less than 1km. Summary: Mist and fog possible in prone valleys around dawn on Saturday with visibilities very locally below 1km but this will be mostly shallow and very quickly clear and lift as the sun rises. Visibility will be generally good away from prone valleys and later in the morning with visibility generally greater than 15km, but locally between 8 to 15km.
