1 FAK tyrosine phosphorylation is unaffected by loss of LAR activity.
FAK tyrosine phosphorylation is unaffected by loss of LAR activity. (A,B) Serum-starved WT and LARΔP MEFs were stimulated with 20 ng ml−1 PDGF-BB for increasing periods of time before protein lysates were prepared and immunoblotted using antibodies against (A) paxillin (Pax) and phospho-paxillin Tyr118 or (B) FAK, phospho-FAK Tyr397 and phospho-FAK Tyr407. In both A and B, expression of Alix was used as a loading control and results are representative of three independent experiments. (C,D) The ratio of either phosphorylated FAK Tyr407 (C) or phosphorylated FAK Tyr397 (D) to total FAK was calculated using densitometric analysis of immunoblots. Data are the mean±s.e.m. from three separate experiments. Adil R. Sarhan et al. J Cell Sci 2016;129: © Published by The Company of Biologists Ltd
