God is omnipresent, yet heaven is His dwelling place (1 Kings 8:27-30)

3. Beautiful Beyond Words
If the earth is God’s footstool, imagine how beautiful His heavenly home is! (Acts 7:49)
Scripture typically describes the beauty of heaven in symbolic language (Rev. 4:1-11; 7:9-12; Isa. 6:1-3; Dan. 7:9-10)
We must not allow the symbolism to overshadow the reality of heaven.
Only unseen things are eternal! (2 Cor. 4:18)
We desire heaven because we desire the Lord! (Acts 1:9-11; Psalm 73:25)

4. God’s Great Dream
God desired a large family to love (1 John 4:8; Heb. 2:10; Eph. 2:6-7)
Despite the cost to Himself, God devised a plan to justify and glorify sinful men, enabling them to become His children! (1 Cor. 2:9; Rom. 8:29-30)
He predetermined to have many children like His Son!
He would call them, justify them, and glorify them! (2 Cor. 3:18; 1 John 3:2-3)
