The statistical analysis of the lidar inversions shows some limitations - instruments comparison, cross-calibration (?) The further development for clouds categorization technique is necessary (including Z/a ratio, cloud base height, water presence in ice regions) LWC retrievals Problems with poor water clouds still exist
