BUILT to LAST
2
2 Chronicles 6: 12 – 14 Then Solomon stood before the altar of the LORD in front of the whole assembly of Israel and spread out his hands. (13) Now he had made a bronze platform, five cubits long, five cubits wide and three cubits high, and had placed it in the center of the outer court. He stood on the platform and then knelt down before the whole assembly of Israel and spread out his hands toward heaven.

2 Chronicles 6: 14 "O LORD, God of Israel, there is no God like you in heaven or on earth—you who keep your covenant of love with your servants who continue wholeheartedly in your way.
4
2 Chronicles 6: "Now, my God, may your eyes be open and your ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place. (41) "Now arise, O LORD God, and come to your resting place, you and the ark of your might. May your priests, O LORD God, be clothed with salvation, may your saints rejoice in your goodness. (42) O LORD God, do not reject your anointed one. Remember the great love promised to David your servant."
5
2 Chronicles 7: “When Solomon finished praying, fire came down from heaven and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices, and the glory of the LORD filled the temple. (2) The priests could not enter the temple of the LORD because the glory of the LORD filled it. (3) When all the Israelites saw the fire coming down and the glory of the LORD above the temple, they knelt on the pavement with their faces to the ground, and they worshiped and gave thanks to the LORD, saying, "He is good;
his love endures forever."

Romans 12: 1 (NIV) Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual act of worship.

Christ Centered… not self-centered! Matthew 16: 18 – 19 (NLT) Now I say to you that you are Peter (which means ‘rock’), and upon this rock I will build my church, and all the powers of hell will not conquer it. (19) And I will give you the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you forbid on earth will be forbidden in heaven, and whatever you permit on earth will be permitted in heaven.”

1 Corinthians 6: (MSG) “Or didn't you realize that your body is a sacred place, the place of the Holy Spirit? Don't you see that you can't live however you please, squandering what God paid such a high price for? The physical part of you is not some piece of property belonging to the spiritual part of you. God owns the whole works. So let people see God in and through your body.

2. Spirit Filled… not empty! Ephesians 5: 18 (NLT) “Don’t be drunk with wine, because that will ruin your life. Instead, be filled with the Holy Spirit”
11
Luke 4: (NIV) “Then Jesus returned to Galilee, filled with the Holy Spirit’s power. Reports about him spread quickly through the whole region. (15) He taught regularly in their synagogues and was praised by everyone.” Acts 4:31 “After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly.”

3. Powered by Grace… Not just covered. Hebrews 2: 9 “What we do see is Jesus, who was given a position “a little lower than the angels”; and because he suffered death for us, he is now “crowned with glory and honor.” Yes, by God’s grace, Jesus tasted death for everyone.”
13
Ephesians 2 : But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, (5) made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. 2 Corinthians 1:12 “We can say with confidence and a clear conscience that we have lived with a God-given holiness and sincerity in all our dealings. We have depended on God’s grace, not on our own human wisdom. That is how we have conducted ourselves before the world, and especially toward you.”
14
by God’s grace: Christ died for us; We are made alive (saved);
3. We live our life in this world. Grace – (greek word “charis”) Strongs - the divine influence on the heart, and its reflection in the life.
