Relation to the urbanscape
The project aims to improve local facilities and services by filling the gaps caused by youth service cuts and adding a new urban asset - KEYSTONE Community Lab - which in turn will add to community social capital. The Lab will act as a focus for cultural events, showcasing the work of participating young people. The Lab will develop solutions to urban problems – like crime and anti- social behaviour.
Scaling up prospects
We will develop a ‘Theory of Change’ for the Community Lab. This will show how inputs (time, money, people) lead to outputs, then outcomes and impacts. Evaluation data will be applied to assess the ‘replication potential’ of the Lab. A Social Return on Investment (SROI) method will assess the potential economic impact of the Lab.
