Swedish Academic Initiative for Nuclear and radiation Technology research and education
Founding members: CTH and UU
Board: representatives from all parties, observers from SKC and SSM
Operative Management: representatives from all parties, communication specialist and an economy advisor
Goal: Create good conditions for a thriving environment for research and education within radiation sciences in Sweden

Supporting SKC at the student fairs at Chalmers (Charm) and Uppsala University (Utnarm)

PLANNED ACTIVITIES
Management meetings every two months in the operative mangement board to facilitate coordination, common use of infrastructures and research cooperation.
Communicate the relevant activities through internal and external newsletters and a web page.
Coordination of common projects (for the moment e-learning).
Establish international research collaborations (currently Australia, Argentina and UAE).
Mapping of the existing relevant competences and need for national competence.
Supporting SSM in their task to ensure adequate knowledge and competence in Sweden.
Review of relevant research calls nationally and internationally and aid in consortium building.
Organize workshops and conferences as well as aiding the parties’ participation in such activities.
