9. When the chick hatches it is wet and its feathers are down

10. When the feathers dry the chick becomes yellow and fluffy

12. The story of the hen and the chick 
The hen lays eggs in her nest.
She sits on them to keep them warm
and protect them. She turns them many times.
It takes 21 days for the
eggs to hatch.

13. After 21 days the chicks hatch from the eggs.
Their feathers are wet and
Down.
When they dry they will become yellow and fluffy
The baby chicks can walk straight away
The chicks resemble their parents
throughout their life.

14. After 6 months the chick is a
fully grown chicken.
Now the cycle
starts again.
