Aleksis Chavèz Niemelä returned at the end of 2013 to Finland to complete his university studies. Thanks for his contributions to the Upgrade project!
Kamil Cichy since December 2013 as CERN technical student, and is now the contact for the module CAD (Catia) design.

Power hybrid lowered, with no spacer, to reduce module total thickness from 13.5 mm to 9.7 mm.

10. PS and 2S module designs, next
PS modules:
The now starting prototype studies (more in Alan’s talk) will focus in particular on the handling and assembly of the PS modules.
May lead to modifications, e.g. on the geometries of the sensor HV-connections.
Positioning/alignment holes or clamping points may need to be added.
Update models of the 1.6 mm and 2.6 mm modules to be at the same design level as the 4.0 mm.
2S modules:
In current design all 5 module attachment holes are the same. Need to define two of them to be used for module positioning/alignment.
