Homework: Read page in Pathways and take Cornell notes in preparation for next class. Create a hypothesis statement that responds to the question: Was the Black Death a positive turning point or a negative period in European history?

Activity In groups of two you will be comparing and contrasting the Black Death and Ebola. One partner will examine Black Death, the other Ebola Share your findings with your partner Find themes or similarities between the two Each student should have a complete copy of the handout for their notes
