Valentine’s Party Math Spelling 2:30-3:30 Wednesday, February 13th
This week we will work on all numbers 0-100! For the remainder of February we will be focusing on tricky teens and beginning addition. We will always be incorporating and circling around to number writing and ordering along with the more (greater) fewer (less) and same as (equal) concepts. Spelling Now that we know all of our letter names and sounds we have been working on sounding words out and spelling them. Please invite your child to sound out short vowel words such as cat, mug, top, bag, sip etc. and writing them down. This will practice many skills including handwriting! You can make it fun by using markers, paint or clay and even incorporate rhyming!! Valentine’s Party 2:30-3:30 Wednesday, February 13th Ice Cream Social! We will be celebrating by passing out Valentines, playing Bingo and enjoying an ice-cream treat (sherbet will be an available option) You may send in Valentine’s for your student to pass out to each classmate. We have 28 students total. We will be making our own Valentine bags in class. Thank you for all you do! Please feel free to contact me at anytime! I love your children and want to make their learning the best for them Sincerely, Mrs. Hoover PS Parents and Grandparents are welcome to visit, volunteer or read with us anytime!
