Annoted amino acid sequence of Aedes aegypti gliotactin (Gli).
Annoted amino acid sequence of Aedes aegypti gliotactin (Gli). (A) The amino acids of A. aegypti Gli were aligned with those of Drosophilamelanogaster (accession no. AAC41579) using the ClustalW algorithm. Asterisk (*) represents identical amino acid residues shared between A. aegypti Gli and D. melanogaster Gli, colon (:) indicates conservation between two amino acid residues of strongly similar properties and period (.) indicates conservation between two amino acid residues of weakly similar properties. (B) Aedes aegypti Gli has a single-pass transmembrane domain (blue), an extracellular region containing a carboxylesterases type-B domain (green), and an intracellular domain with two highly conserved tyrosine phosphorylation residues (yellow) and a PDZ binding motif (red).
