FISH and dosage analysis. Panel A: The presence of two cell lines is shown in the female twin: one carrying XX (two red signals) and one carrying XY (one red and one green signal). Panel B: Dosage analysis showed approximately equal levels of the X chromosome in each twin using lymphoblast DNA. This level was greater than that found in the father (a single X chromosome), while it was less than that detected in the mother (two X chromosomes).
