To provide HNMS with numerical models.
To support COSMO works.
To organize the participation of HNMS in EU and
national projects relative to numerical forecasting.
To organize collaboration with Universities and other
local research organizations.
To organize and supervise the execution of the
numerical models running in HNMS computer systems.

Participating in the development and testing of new
numerical and physical schemes.

To support the National Forecasting Centre with LM.
To present and evaluate the results of LM scores
internally.
To familiarize colleagues with COSMO-LEPS.
To promote LM in projects, where HNMS participates
(national and EU supported).
To introduce LM to our neighbouring Meteorological
Services, beginning with Cyprus.
To support the COSMO web site operationally.

A super-computer will be installed until the end of the
year.
Contribution of 2 FTE scientists and occasionally 2
other scientists for additional works.
