Discussion: What are some things you usually do to engage your learners in a story?
Preview 1 Once we’ve previewed language and concepts, and set a purpose for listening, we are ready to tell the story. But there are many things we can do DURING the story to engage and support our young learners. What are some things you already do when you tell stories to your students? As participants share answers, write their ideas on the screen.
