A network application is a computer application in which either the program you are using, the data you are working with, or both, are on a network.

Web Browsers are network applications used to access the Internet. In fact, they are among the most popular network applications in the world.

Each web page has a unique address, URL (Uniform Resource Locator) so that any computer can locate the information.

6. A browser usually has many different types of controls.
The back and forward buttons, a refresh button that allows you to reload the current page, a home button that returns you to a predefined page, a bookmark button that allows you to mark web pages for recall later, a settings button that allows you to access additional controls to customize your browser.
Browsers allow you to open multiple webpages in other tabs.
In most browsers, you can drag a tab off the browser window to create a completely new browser window.
