6. How Does the CIDA Distribute Aid?
One way the CIDA distributes aid is to find partners (universities, NGOs, Businesses) that will agree to administer programs or cooperate with the government
Also distributes through UN agencies, directly to governments, and through NGOs
Major focus on sustainable development and technology to aid agriculture

NGOs provide the best way to avoid aid corruption because they provide aid directly to those in need rather than governments
Promote small scale projects that can be maintained locally and are appropriate to the region’s environment
