Reminders
Homework this year is to practice math facts and read daily AND spend time with your family! Additional homework will be given from time to time to study for tests.
Objectives: 
Reading: We will introduce the genre of Drama by reading various reader’s theatre selections.
Language: Figurative Language - Students will learn about personification and idioms and use it in their writing.
Writing: Students will write a persuasive letter to someone.
Spelling Words: walked, looking, planted, asked, jumping, filled, talking, needed, spelling, played
Math: This week students will add three-digit numbers with and without regrouping.
Science: Students will study objects in the sky next weeks.
Social Studies: Students will continue to study map skills over the United States.
Conference Time: 1:30-2:25
