TUBS Reporting Previous OFP reporting application
In the past, the OFP was producing subset of regional data for each member country, and provided this subset with an application (i.e. Observer Trip Viewer System) to generate reports PROS No need to be connected to internet to query the data CONS Need the application to be installed on your computer Data is not up-to-date and needs to be refreshed manually No access on tablets or Mac New Online OFP reporting application: TUBS Report Generate reports on your data, from any connected device The data is always up-to-date

TUBS Reporting A first list of reports has been setup, based on OFP knowledge of member countries reporting needs This system has been designed to easily setup new reports, on request. Let us know if you need any new reports We can generate new reports during this week of workshop

TUBS Reporting Access your TUBS data Secured web application
Data entered at SPC and at WCPFC in TUBS are merged into one dataset This dataset is then split by country/organization, so you can access your data and only your data This dataset will be refreshed every month Secured web application You need a password to access your data So far, one password per country/organization. Later, each user will have its own login data

Replace XX by your country code Make sure you use a recent web browser (Chrome, Firefox) Use the login information provided by OFP team Login: tubs Password: [enter the password of your country/organization] You should see the Tubs Report main page If not, please ask for assistance

Each group contains several report sub groups

A click on a report group will display the list of sub groups
Report Selection Click on the report group again to go back to the list of report groups A click on a report group will display the list of sub groups

A mandatory field is circled in red, it has to be filled to allow the report to be generated An optional parameter left blank will not be used to generate the report Example: an optional year parameter not entered will generate a report with data for all the years Mandatory Optional

Report group by Not suitable for all reports
The group by allows user to generate the same report, with different levels of aggregation (aka data per ??) If the report uses group by, this field is mandatory, and must be picked from a list Example: Number of observer trip per

Report output The report data
The column titles. Click on one column title to sort the report on the selected column Then the total number of records and the export to csv button On top you can find the Sub Group / Report

Report output CSV Use for mapping Future enhancement
A report can be exported as csv, so you can use Excel to format the report before including it in a document Colley will have a session dedicated on formatting output Use for mapping Some reports will generate data to be used by MapInfo Manu will have a presentation on how to use the csv generated from tubs report with MapInfo to produce maps Future enhancement Export well formatted reports to be used directly for printing/publication Generate maps directly in tubs report

Report map Map builder is under construction (not available yet)
Will be used to display spatial data and to replace CES, by showing pie charts on a map
