2 THIRD- PARTY WEBSITES Third-Party websites include public websites operated by agencies/agents that contain information about Aetna or Coventry Medicare Advantage (MA), Medicare Advantage Prescription Drug (MA-PD), and/or Prescription Drug Plans (PDPs). Third-Party websites also include websites designed to provide contracted agents with beneficiary leads. These guidelines do not apply to Medicare Supplement or non- MA/MA-PD/PDP plans (e.g., life insurance) 02

3 PROHIBITIONS (DO NOT) Ask for any health information, including: pre-existing conditions, weight, whether the beneficiary smokes; age. Ask for any beneficiary identification numbers, including: Social Security number, Health Insurance Claim Number, and Medicaid Identification numbers. Ask for beneficiary financial information, including credit card numbers, income, and resource limits. Require any information be entered by an individual, other than zip code, county, and state for access to non-beneficiary specific website context. Ask for referrals from beneficiaries via your website. Use the word "free" when referring to Medicare health plan benefits. Display any benefit and cost-sharing information prior to October 1st for next year's plans. Inaccurately identify or refer to a Medicare Supplement plan as a MA, MA-PD, or PDP plan. Use absolute superlatives when referring to plans (e.g., "best", "lowest", "highest ranked"). Claim you are recommended or endorsed by CMS, Medicare, or the Department of Health and Human Services. Charge any fee for providing information about plans. 3

4 WEBSITE REQUIREMENTS If you direct the consumer to call a phone number, you must clearly indicate that the phone number will direct the individual to a licensed agent/broker. Ensure all materials and information are related to current year plans. In addition, from October 1st to December 31st, you may display information and materials relevant to next year's plans. Any sites used for the purposes of generating leads must also comply with the requirements in this checklist and any other CMS requirement. Keep a record of your downline's public- facing websites, including URL, entity names, and ensure those site comply with the requirements in this checklist Ensure that required marketing disclaimers appear on websites that contain information specific to MA, MA-PD, and PDP products. Ensure you have written approvals from insurance companies (Ex: aetna) before using their logos on your website. Ensure you are certified (licensed, appointed, trained) to sell plans on your page. This does not apply to lead generating sites. 4
