Loving – Mature Strong - Wise
Toolbox Finding Clarity and Balance Chart Fear Clarity Fear Fear Appropriate Awareness of self and others Loving – Mature Strong - Wise Fear Weak Focus on ME Doesn’t talk enough Weak – gives too much Selfless Focused on others needs Fear Ego Focus on ME Talks too Much Strong – takes too much Selfish Focused on my needs Finding the clarity in any situation: Be Loving: Am I in a place without fear for myself where I am capable of giving love? Am I in trust about my value? Do I feel safe, whole and bulletproof because my value isn’t on the line? I do not need to defend myself. I may still want to take action on this issue but can do so from a place of love for myself and others. How can I be kind and loving to both of us? Be Mature: I have a tendency to see other people as different from me. In reality they are scared, struggling human beings just like me . I will put myself in their shoes before I take any action. I will see them as the same as me. This is the grown up thing to do. I will have compassion for where they are. I will avoid drama and making them the bad guy. Be Strong: Being strong does not mean being dominate, forceful or in any way placing myself above other people. Strong is just a place without fear. Real strength comes from trusting God and life. This situation is perfect and is here to teach me something. How can I rise to the occasion and respond as the best me? 4) Be Wise: Choosing the wisest course of action requires you to look at why you might choose each option. There are fear reasons and love reasons to respond each way. Indentify them. Then decide which is the most loving, mature, strong and wise response.
