What is a District? Congressional districts in the US are electoral divisions for the purpose of electing members of the HoR. Each state is divided into sections and they elect leaders in these districts. Each district has a set number of representatives. Based on Population Every two years new representative are elected. A district needs to vote majority for their representative.

Gerrymandering Gerrymandering: To manipulate the boundaries of an electoral district to favor one party. Politicians use this as a tactic to win more congressional districts for their party. That way their party would have more people in congress and have majority

Using the 2nd and 3rd grid Answer the following questions
Who would win the 2nd grid? How do you know? Who would win in the 3rd grid? How do you know? How would the election be different? Why do you think the drawing of congressional districts is important? How can this effect you?
