T2 weighted (T2W), FLAIR (fluid attenuated inversion recovery), and T1W images demonstrate severe head atrophy with ex vacuo dilatation of the frontal horns and severe atrophy of the putamina with “slit-like” high signal intensity on T2W and low signal intensity on T1W. T2 weighted (T2W), FLAIR (fluid attenuated inversion recovery), and T1W images demonstrate severe head atrophy with ex vacuo dilatation of the frontal horns and severe atrophy of the putamina with “slit-like” high signal intensity on T2W and low signal intensity on T1W.
