3 Noise Level 1 Tuesday Read Lesson 3: Goods and Trade Wednesday Finish reading Lesson 3 and begin reading Lesson 4: Producers and Consumers Thursday Finish Lesson 4 and review Friday Quiz. Economics Materials Needed People and Places- Economics Book Quiz Home Reading Project Connection Farmers Market Money Economics Standards S.S. 2.4.2 Identify community workers who provide goods* and services* for the rest of the community and explain how their jobs benefit people in the community. S.S. 2.4.7 Explain why people trade* for goods and services and explain how money makes trade easier.

4 Writing Descriptive Words Noise Level 1 1.Gather all materials. 2.Think about the item(s) that we are producing for the Farmers Market. 3.Use the graphic organizer to write as many words to describe the item as you can. 4.Use your graphic organizer to write a paragraph describing the item. Use as many descriptive words as possible. Be creative. 5.Edit your writing. 6.Trade with a partner and let them read your paragraph. Standards 2.L.1.e Use adjectives and adverbs and choose between them. 2.L.6 Use words and phrases acquired through reading and being read to (including adjectives and adverbs). 5 Self-Selected Reading / Accelerated Reader Noise Level 0 1.Choose a library book or a book of choice that you have not read. 2.Be sure you picked a book that you can read alone. 3.Silently read. 4.After you finish your book, write the name of the book in your Data Binder. 5.Be sure to fill in the information about your book in your binder. 6.If you can answer all the questions in your Data Binder, get your laptop and log on to AR to take your test. 7.Record your AR score in your Data Binder.. 6 Working with Words Noise Level 1 Tuesday: Start the spelling packet. Wednesday: Finish the spelling packet and turn in to the turn in file. Thursday: Spelling City/Vocabulary Game Friday: Test!
