Animal Facts Description A cheetah’s fur is tan with black spots all over, and has two black lines starting from the inside corner of there eyes coming down under there chin. They are 2-3 feet tall and inches long. So that means cheetahs weigh about pounds. Which is why cheetahs run so fast, but that’s not the only reason why they run so fast, another reason is because cheetah’s have a bendy spine which helps a cheetah run. Diet Cheetahs are carnivores which means they eat meat specifically gazelles, wildebeests, cavils, impales and smaller hooved animals. Movement A cheetah uses its spine like a spring, that that helps it run mph, no wonder a cheetah is the worlds fastest runner! 1) Type a description of your animal 2) Type whether your animal is an herbivore, omnivore, or carnivore and what does it eat? 3) text telling how your animal moves 4) pic showing your animal 5)change fonts and colors to personalize. One of the places in Africa the Sahara desert which is hot and dry. They can also live in grasslands or in the open plains so its easy for them to hunt by using their spots to camouflage in the grass so they can run and jump on their prey without their prey even noticing. 1) Map showing where your animal lives 2) pic of your animal in its habitat. 3) text telling where your animal lives, description of habitat, and any adaptations animal has to live in habitat 4) change fonts and colors to personalize. There mama takes care of them until the cubs turn two, at this point the cubs will know how to hunt and take care of themselves. A picture of the animal as a baby or young. C After there mother leaves them, the girl cheetahs split up , but the boy cheetahs go in groups of 2-3 boy cheetahs called collations. Cheetahs use there claws and jaws to fight and protect themselves or they could just be scared cats and run away.
