1 - Motivation:
Heat pump technology has a lot of potential to reduce energy-use, promote electrification, and stimulate circularity in industrial processes.
3 - Objective:
Identify ways to improve the conditions for further development and implementation of industrial heat pumps in the Netherlands by analyzing its Technological Innovation System (TIS).
4 - Approach:
Determine TIS performance by analysing how well seven key processes are fulfilled
(see figure below).
Identify what problems are inhibiting TIS performance.
Formulate interventions that increase TIS performance, thus contributing to further development and implementation of indutrial heat humps in the Netherlands.
