To provide governmental organizations and public with forecasts and warnings of weather, climate and hydrology for the protection of human life and property from natural disasters and the enhancement of the national socio-economic development of the country. Mission Goals To provide the customers with short, mid-term and long-term forecasts and severe weather and disaster warning, To provide the national network of meteorology and environmental monitoring with integrated professional and methodological guidance, to organize weather modification activities, To provide the meteorology and environmental monitoring field with integrated management, human resource capacity building, and expanding international cooperation, To conduct state archives of hydrological, meteorological and environmental information, to create an integrated climate data system. The socio-economic development of the country heavily depends on use of natural resources, agriculture and nomadic livestock husbandry sector that are under direct influence of climatic and weather conditions. Meteorology and Environmental monitoring development program
Goals To provide more accurate weather forecasting and climate and environmental data, to reduce the risks natural disasters, and environmental pollution, to bring the quality of the meteorological service for Air navigation to the international level, To expand the observational network, to develop and upgrade technology and software for receiving, processing, exchanging and disseminating the information, to bring activities of meteorological, hydrological and environmental integrated data base to modern level, and to provide with qualified personnel; To expand the scope of assessment of environmental conditions and to improve remote sensing, To reduce the risk of drought and desertification, to increase efficiency of weather modification and precipitation enhancement activities, Develop a market for meteorological, hydrological and environmental information services, meet the needs of the society,

Conclusion Increase meteorological and environmental monitoring networks and renovation of technique and technology. Establishment of Radar network, installation of AWS in all observational stations and posts. Capacity building on human resources
