Security Some need more than others. Change by definition is change. Can get a stress if pushed to embrace change. Autonomy Need to have control over our environment. In hospital if have access to paid meds, then actually use less meds. Lack of autonomy causes stress. Fairness Need to see that equality is being done for ourselves as well as others around us.

Esteem Hyper sensitive is low self-esteem. If you are rejected by someone, it is the same as having physical pain. Trust Need to belong to tribe When meet someone new, decide if friend or foe. Can raise blood pressure. To improve Resilience: Be self aware of what causes you stress Think about your values. Practice mindfulness training. Being in the moment. Exercise. Sleep Power of Mindset.
