How does each game experience connect to actual immigration?
Some groups did not have enough crayons or papers in the small rectangle. Some people left their country of origin for many reasons. Each group lost a point when someone immigrated into the large rectangle. It was expensive to immigrate and many families had to make a big sacrifice. When all groups joined the large rectangle, they did not have as much space as group 1. Some immigrants face discrimination in their new country. Group 1 had more crayons and papers than all the other groups. Immigrants often have to work harder for less pay. To enter the large rectangle, each person needed to crabwalk and complete a task. The journey to America can be a difficult one. The long process includes filling out forms and passing tests.
