2 Expand Veterinary Resources and Select Databases

3 Scroll down the Database list and select Science Direct.

4 You will be asked to authenticate yourself if working from off campus

5 Provide keywords and click on “Search” or Click on “Advanced search”

6 Get results on Journals and Books

7 Select articles to download PDF’s or click on Export to export to EndNote

8 A green circle means Full text access (Subscribed to) or Open access (Free) and a White circle means No access (No subscription)

9 The full text article

10 Choose Export to export to EndNote

11 Choose Export citation to RIS

12 A RIS file is downloaded at the bottom of your screen.

13 Click on the file to transfer the reference to EndNote

14 An advanced search can also be done

15 Searches can be done in different fields

16 And can be limited to different literature types

17 Keywords may appear in the title, abstract or keyword field in the following article types

18 Results … PDFs can be downloaded or references exported to EndNote

19 You can also browse through an alphabetical list of journals and books by clicking on “Journals & Books”

21 The alphabetical list can be limited to a specific domain e. g

22 And can be limited further to Publication and Access type
