CAPABILITIES Serving accounts from coast-to-coast and Canada, Francis has the capabilities of producing castings weighing fractions of an ounce to several hundred pounds. A wide variety of aluminum alloys are poured to satisfy present customer requirements of very small order quantities to larger production runs of thousands of castings per week. Electric melting capabilities and constant control of the natural bonded sands have proven to assure our customers of internally sound casting integrity along with externally pleasing surface finish which combine to yield production castings of top commercial quality. Core requirements are satisfied by using production shell cores utilizing a wide variety of sizes and configurations. CO2 process cores are available mostly for experimental and prototype work or small production runs.

Both match plate tooling and loose pattern equipment are common at Francis Manufacturing Company. A wide variety of flask sizes assures maximum production and competitive prices for the small casting requirements. Larger sizes are produced from loose pattern equipment, which calls upon molding expertise uncommon in so many of today's high production facilities. Francis has many qualified employees who are "molders" in the truest sense of the word and an ongoing training program which assures that this art will never be lost.
