It has been so nice having a full week to get back in the swing of things! This week one of our fantastic parents has volunteered to come in a make Irish Soda Bread with the kids – if you would like to stop on by and be apart of this we would love to have you! Just let me know.
This week we have focused on our identity, who we are, where we come from, respect and love for everyone. We all are different and that is what makes us unique, we all do not want to be the exact same. Those difference make up who we are and we need to love ourselves for who we are and where we come from. The kids and I have had some great conversations about how everyone is unique and that is what makes everyone special.
Keep practicing your math facts and keep up the great work! I can really see that the
kids have practiced their facts and
are becoming stronger for next year.

2. See and Say Words What We’re Learning Both Buy Hers Math Practice
Reading: The students and I are continue to practice asking and answering questions, making inferences, rereading the text and looking for details to support our answers. We are learning about penguins.
Math: We are learning how to add a two digit number to a two digit number.
Writing: The kids are writing about their partners and getting their books ready!
Social Studies: We are learning about Atlases, what is an atlas? What do we need it for? How do we use an Atlas?
