Plasma glucose (A) and glucose specific activity (B) during euglycemic clamp experiments. Specific activity was slightly higher throughout the omental infusion experiments (•) than during control experiments (○). This difference did not change during the experiment, however, implying that the difference was independent of omental insulin.
