Extemporaneous (don’t read).
Formal appearance (Use good posture, no headgear, no jackets, no shorts, no flip-flops)
Loud volume and clear voice.

Show as needed.

5. Effective PowerPoint Don’t read (use as speaking points.)
Few points per screen.
Talk as you go through the slides.
Large font.
Simple effects.
Use as notes (don’t read).

6. Use Solid Content Teach us something we don’t know.
Use several high quality sources of information and orally cite them.

Introduction that grabs audience attention and builds your credibility.
Body with 2-5 main points, which are supported with information we don’t know.
Conclusion that summarizes and makes your message memorable.
