It is not primarily: a thing ‘to do’ in need of a better method. It is not: a pragmatic way to get what you want It is not: a magic ‘spell’ It is: ‘the primary way true faith expresses itself’ or ‘the chief exercise of faith’

Discussion Questions Recite the Memory Verse.
Why is Jesus the best person you could ask for help with ‘how to enjoy prayer’? What does Jesus teach us about prayer when he tells us to address God as ’father’? How does the idea of ‘God as father’ give clarity to unanswered/repeat prayers? And he said to them, “When you pray, say: “Father, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come. 3 Give us each day our daily bread, 4 and forgive us our sins, for we ourselves forgive everyone who is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation.”
