2 2 Types 2 Tipes Planning how the business receives and spends money: quotations, budgets, income and expenditure statements. Beplan hoe besigheid geld ontvang en bestee: kwotasies, begrotings, inkomste-en-uitgawestate Recording of the actual income and expenditure of money: invoices, receipts, account statements, payslips,travel claim forms, bank documents. Rekord houding van werklike inkomste en besteding van geld: fakture, kwitansies, rekeningstate, salarisstrokies, reis-eisvorms, bankdokumente.

3 Quotations Kwotasies To get a price on a product or service before you actually buy it. Also to compare different prices. Kry ‘n prys vir ‘n produk of diens voordat jy dit koop. Asook om verskillende pryse te vergelyk.

4 Invoices and receipts Fakture en kwitansies
It is important to keep these documents for goods sold. If there were any enquiries. Dit is belangrik om hierdie dokumente te hou vir goedere verkoop. As daar enige navrae sou wees.

5 Invoices record information about every sale
Invoices record information about every sale. It must contain certain information. (eg. Invoice number, name of business and address or contact detail, name and address of customer,full detail on product bought/sold, terms and costs) Fakture bevat inligting oor alle verkope en moet seker inligting bevat. (bv. Faktuur nommer, naam van besigheid en adres of kontak besonderhede, naam en adres van kliënt, volledige informasie oor produk verkoop/ aangekoop, terme en koste)

6 Receipts record information about all money received.
Must include: customer’s name, what they paid for, the amount paid and for which invoice or if it was paid cash. Kwitansies bevat inligting oor alle geld wat ontvang is. Moet die volgende insluit: kliënt se naam, wat hul voor betaal het, die bedrag betaal en vir watter faktuur of dit betaal was met kontant.

7 Payslips Salarisstrokies
All the employers must provide their worker (employees) with this document for payment received. Each employee has the right to receive it after payment. Alle werkgewers moet die dokument aan hul werknemers voorsien vir betaling ontvang. Elke werknemer het die reg om dit te ontvang na betaling.

8 Every payslip contains:
Employer’s name and address, Employee’s full name, ID number & employee number, occupation, grade/position, pay period, basic amount of pay, manner of payment, detailed breakdown (gross pay), deductions, total amount (net pay) Elke salarisstrokie bevat die volgende: Werkgewer se naam en adres, werknemer se volle naam, ID-nommer & werknemersnommer, beroep, graad/ posisie, betaaltermyn, basiese salaris, wyse van betaling, gedetailleerde ontleding (bruto salaris), aftrekkings, totale bedrag (netto salaris)

9 Payslip deductions Salarisstrokie aftrekkings
PAYE: (pay as you earn) is the type of income tax paid by workers in SA who have tax deducted from their pay. PAYE: (betaal soos jy verdien) is die tipe inkomstebelasting wat deur werkers in SA betaal word, wie se belasting van hul salarrise afgetrek word.

10 SITE: (standard income tax on employees) is another way for employers to calculate amount of income tax they must deduct from an employees' gross pay. SITE: (standaard inkomstebelasting op werknemer) is ‘n ander manier waarop werkgewer inkomstebelasting bedrag kan bereken van hul werknemer se bruto salarisse en dan moet aftrek.

11 UIF: (unemployment insurance fund) Workers must pay a percentage of their income to the UIF. Presently 1% of each employee and employer. WVF: (werkloosheidsversekeringsfonds) Werkers moet ‘n persentasie van hul inkomste betaal aan die WVF. Tans is dit 1% van elke werknemer en werkgewer.

12 Union: deduction from your salary to the trade union you belong to.
Unie: aftrekking van jou salaris na die vakunie waaraan jy behoort. Other: any other deductions from you gross pay for example, a loan from employer. Ander: enige ander aftrekkings vanaf jou bruto salaris bv, ‘n lening van werkgewer.

13 Travel allowance claims form Reistoelaag-eisvorms
When you use your personal vehicle for work and you receive a travel allowance. These costs include: fuel, oil and maintenance costs. To be able to claim this allowance you must keep record in a logbook for the travel allowance claim form. As jy jou persoonlike voertuig gebruik vir werk en jy ontvang ‘n reistoelaag. Hierdie kostes sluit in: brandstof, olie en onderhoudskoste. Om die toelaag te eis moet jy rekord hou in’n logboek (ritboek) vir jou reisgoedkeurings-eisvorm.
