1 Predictive value of maternal serum human chorionic gonadotropin levels in pregnancies achieved by in vitro fertilization with single cleavage and single blastocyst embryo transfers  Galia Oron, M.D., Efrat Esh-Broder, M.D., Weon-Young Son, Ph.D., Hananel Holzer, M.D., Togas Tulandi, M.D., M.H.C.M.  Fertility and Sterility  Volume 103, Issue 6, Pages e2 (June 2015) DOI: /j.fertnstert Copyright © Terms and Conditions

2 Figure 1 ROC curve for ß-hCG values for the prediction of clinical intrauterine pregnancy for the cleavage-stage group (blue line) and the blastocyst group (red line). The X-axis and Y-axis are, respectively, the false-positive rate (or 1-specificity) and the true positive rate (or sensitivity). ROC was performed for ß-hCG values for the prediction of clinical intrauterine pregnancy (221 cases in the cleavage group with 167 clinical intrauterine pregnancies and 789 cases in the blastocyst group with 638 clinical intrauterine pregnancies). Numbers on the lines are a few key cutoff values of ß-hCG values. AUC for ß-hCG values are 0.89 and 0.80 for the cleavage-stage group and for the blastocyst group, respectively, all with P<.0001 (for testing AUC = 0.5). The difference between AUCs of the two ROC curves was not significantly different (P=.07). Fertility and Sterility  , e2DOI: ( /j.fertnstert ) Copyright © Terms and Conditions
