1 Marking exceptions Mark unexcused exceptions in timecards to indicate that you have reviewed them and do not want to see them repeatedly in general queries or searches. When you review timecards for sign-off, you can run different queries to ensure that you see all of the resolved and unresolved exceptions. Genies that list exceptions, such as Late-in, display a green check mark to indicate that at least one exception was marked as reviewed. Run the Exceptions report for the same time period to see which exceptions were marked as reviewed. If all exceptions within the time period have been resolved, a green check mark does not appear. In the timecard, a green outline indicates an exception marked for review.

To mark an exception as reviewed: 1. Select the appropriate timecard and time period. 2. Click the unexcused exception, and then select Punch > Mark as Reviewed.
