We are entering the consumer era of computing. The products of the future will be for everyone.
In support of the wireless portal opportunity these figures show that information appliances will achieve critical mass by the year 2001.
These are not just Smartphones and Laptops, they are simple, inexpensive devices that perform a few functions well. They are not simply “diminutive laptops” or “cell phones on steroids”!
