ICGP is the accredited body for General Practice Training in Ireland
ICGP accredits the individual schemes
College will issue your CSCST at the end of your training following nomination
14 Training Schemes throughout the country
Training is delivered by your Programme Directing teams at day release training site
One to one trainers in 3rd and 4th years

3. Plan to Transfer of Training to ICGP
Update – communication earlier this year
Planned changes are now paused
College has begun a process to re-design this model of training

4. GP Training Task Force
Establish an inclusive working group involving those currently delivering training in the design of the new model
Working group will begin shortly and will complete its work within a 3 to 4 month timeframe
A report will go to the Board of the College
