5 Type of Support Provided
Not Agreed Rationale Initial Interview/Assessment / Planning Received by all learners as part of the entry process of college, therefore not part of a high needs package of support Risk Assessment A statutory Health and Safety duty – not part of High Needs package of support Management Admin Not direct support with the learner Review Meetings Part of admin costs already provided Meeting Facilitation Meetings with other staff as part of whole programme (Eg personal tutors/ Career advice) This is part of the whole college offer and should not be attributed to high needs costs. CPD Not Agreed – Unless specific to a particular learner’s requirements and to be discussed and agreed CPD is part of the college responsibilities to its employees and not part of high needs costings. Where specific learners require bespoke support that involves unique training for staff, this would be discussed on an individual basis.
