#4: Height Gages This tool is used for both measuring and layout work. It measures how tall something is. A height gage sits on a flat surface (such as a table) and measures up.

#5: Indicators Both types are precise and delicate. They measure 1/1,000 or 1/10,000 Probe type: small and versatile Travel type: more sturdy and measure greater ranges.
