This bits the gallery © 2008 Efofex Software

Galleries - The Basics Galleries are collections of pre-drawn figures that can be used in your diagrams. There are hundreds of images where you have almost no work to do at all. To access the galleries you push the Gallery Select button. © 2008 Efofex Software
14
When you push this button you will see a collection of images (most likely Chance Processes). Click on one of the images and it will be surrounded by a red square. Click OK and you will be returned to the main drawing screen. © 2008 Efofex Software
15
Move over into the drawing screen and drag out a rectangle. The image you select will be drawn into the rectangular area you sketch out. © 2008 Efofex Software
16
When you wish to use a different image, push the gallery select button again and select another image. You can select from other galleries by pushing the arrow shown below... Take some time to play around in the galleries © 2008 Efofex Software

Now look on the left hand side: Most of the buttons on the toolbar on the left hand side have a little red triangle at the bottom right. Now look on the left hand side: Most of the buttons on the toolbar on the left hand side have a little red triangle at the bottom right. © 2008 Efofex Software

This triangle indicates that the button hides a flyout toolbar. To access the other tools in a toolbar, click and hold the mouse button for half a second. A toolbar will fly out. © 2008 Efofex Software
21
Move across and select a new tool - then release the mouse button The main toolbar will now show the new tool. The flyout toolbars contain logically grouped tools. Take a little bit of time to look at all of the tools available to you. © 2008 Efofex Software

Try drawing some circles They all work a little differently from each other. © 2008 Efofex Software
23
Adding Text Text Boxes Look on the left hand tool bar for the button. The flyout bar looks like this Text can be added to your diagram using either of the text tools. or The other ones are equation boxes so dont go there!! The only difference between the two tools is that the second will use the current shading to place the text in a box rather than free floating. © 2008 Efofex Software
24
Select the tool and mark a rectangular area in the drawing area. You should be left with a flashing text cursor at the top left. You can simply type at this position. To finish text entry, click outside the text box. The text you type will be wrapped to fit the rectangular region you sketched out.
25
Now right-click on the text box – you will see the text box properties. Here you can change the font, modify the text, change the justification and change the width of the margin around the text in a box. There are also two less obvious options. For now, you want your text to be interpreted normally, not as an equation. © 2008 Efofex Software
