2 Introduction “Is old age feared more than death?”
Most people believe that with old age comes short term illness and memory loss all of which is NOT true.

3 Life Expectancy Throughout the period of , life expectancy has increased from 49 years- 80 years and beyond. Women generally live 5-6 years longer in Canada, the US, and Australia.

4 Cont. Life Expectancy Very few people live to 100, even eliminating cancer, illnesses, etc. The body just grows weak and vulnerable to little things that at a younger age, wouldn't have effected us. Such as hot weather, a fall, etc. One theory suggests that we wear out with old age because after we reproduce and successfully raise children, there is no more Natural Selection needed against genes.

5 Sensory Abilities With aging comes loss of sight, smell, and hearing.
Even if we don't notice it, as we age physical changes are always happening. Visual sharpness, Muscle strength, Distance perception, and much more slowly starts to diminish.
