Allow Adjustments to Non Resident Regular Rates Increases of up to 50% Decreases of up to 25% Applies to Four Major Tourist Locations Japanese Tea Garden Conservatory of Flowers Botanical Gardens Coit Tower Elevator (viewing of murals is free) Does not apply to SF Residents Does not apply to Non Resident Seniors or Youth

3 Reasons For Proposal Congestion Pricing
Certain locations have major congestion at peak times Coit Tower Elevator – long lines in the middle of the day and short lines in the mornings Tea Garden – much more congested later in the day. Provides ability to encourage attendance at off peak times. Dynamic Pricing Provides Flexibility Reduce price for inclement weather Adjust for peak demand times Adjust for times when part of the site is shut down or for special installations
