1 Licensing Overview May 2019

2 About Dispatcher Phoenix Licensing
Dispatcher Phoenix is licensed by Active Inputs and User Licenses For information on Active Input Licensing, see Slides 3-10. For information on User Licenses, see Slide For information on Release2Me licensing, see Slide

3 Active Inputs ACTIVE INPUTS Input Folder Collects from local or network folders MFP Collects from MFP User Boxes bEST Allows you to initiate workflows directly from an MFP using bEST technology. LPR In Collects print jobs from an LPR Client like the Windows Printer Queue. SMTP In Receives s sent from an MFP. Google Cloud Print Receives Google Cloud print jobs. FTP In Collects files from FTP Servers. In Collects files from Folders Dropbox In Collect files from a folder in Dropbox. An active input is a point of entry into a running or scheduled workflow. The following collection points are considered “active inputs”: Input Folder MFP bEST LPR In SMTP In Google Cloud Print FTP In In Dropbox In A workflow can have one or many active inputs

4 How Are Active Inputs Counted?
Active Inputs are counted across multiple workflows by the following: Same IP Address/Host Name for: - bEST MFP - SMTP In - MFP - In Input Folder Path Dropbox In Folder Path (per account) LPR Queue name* FTP Server Folder Path Google Cloud Print C:\Folder\Path LPR_PORT1 FTP://Folder/Path * The LPR In node include a single active input for an LPR Queue. For every additional LPR Queue added to a workflow you will need an additional active input

5 Overview of Active Input Licensing for Devices
One device (unique IP/MAC address) used in multiple workflows is only counted ONCE The same MFP device can be used in different types of inputs (e.g., bEST, MFP, SMTP In) and still only be counted ONCE If multiple Input Folders in multiple workflows are collecting from the same directory, they are only counted ONCE 1 Active Input Workflow #2 Workflow #1

6 Active Input Example: 1 Active Input
1st Example: Running 3 “separate” bEST workflows all using the same MFP (e.g., Convert to Microsoft Word, Convert to Searchable PDF, and Convert to PDF/A) Workflow #1 Workflow #2 IP Address: 1 Active Input Workflow #3

7 Active Input Example: 1 Active Input
2nd Example: 4 different workflows that each include only ONE Input Folder node as inputs and these Input Folders nodes all collect from the same directory C:\Reports Workflow #1 C:\Reports Workflow #2 C:\Reports Workflow #3 Folder: C:\Reports 1 Active Input C:\Reports Workflow #4

8 Active Input Example: 1 Active Input
3rd Example: 1 workflow with an SMTP In node, MFP node, and bEST node – all collecting from the SAME device Workflow All input methods reside on same MFP, so only 1 Active Input required IP Address: 1 Active Input

9 Active Input Example: 2 Active Inputs
1 workflow with 3 In nodes. 2 are collecting from the same ABC Inc. ; yet 1 is collecting from a CDE Inc. . In this case, 2 active inputs are used. Workflow

10 Active Input Example: 4 Active Inputs
4th Example: In this example there are 5 inputs - 2 use the same MFP (IP address) meaning 4 total active inputs are counted. Google Cloud Print Workflow C:\Reports\Monthly

11 User Licenses The following Dispatcher Phoenix features do not require Active Inputs for licensing; however, they are licensed per named user: DP Mobile (10, 25, 50, 100, 250, 500 & 1000 User Packs) DP Workstation (1 User License & 10 User Packs) DP Batch Indexing Package (1 User License & 10 User Packs) Note: Workstation and Batch Indexing User Licenses include all the functionality necessary to operate those features.

12 User Licensing 10 Users For 10 users to access Workstation: Qty.
Licenses 1 DP Workstation 10 User Licenses For 10 users to access Batch Indexing: Qty. Licenses 1 DP Batch Indexing 10 User Licenses

13 Release2Me Device Licenses include ALL Release2Me functionality!
Release2Me Licenses Simplified Licensing In addition to Active Inputs, we’ve introduced NEW Device Licensing model for Release2Me! New Options DP Release2Me 1 Device License DP Release2Me 3 Device License DP Release2Me 5 Device License DP Release2Me 10 Device License DP Release2Me 25 Device License DP Release2Me 50 Device License DP Release2Me 100 Device License DP Release2Me 500 Device License This existing Release2Me optional module now includes THREE Release2Me Device Licenses! Release2Me Device Licenses include ALL Release2Me functionality! Device License can only be used for Release2Me workflows. They cannot be used with other types of workflows.

14 Release2Me Licensing Active Inputs can be used for scanning & releasing print jobs. For Example: Active Input Device License Device License Device License A Customer with 4 devices can use Dispatcher Phoenix Foundations to scan into a Dispatcher Phoenix workflow via a single device with Release2Me functionality available on all 4 devices!

15 Release2Me Licensing 3 Devices For accessing Release2Me on 3 Devices:
Qty. Previous Licenses 1 Dispatcher Phoenix Release2Me Secure Print Release Solution 4 DP 1 Additional Active Input Qty. New Licenses 1 DP Release2Me 3 Device License

16 Release2Me Licensing 15 Devices
For accessing Release2Me on 15 Devices: Qty. Previous Licenses 1 Dispatcher Phoenix Release2Me Secure Print Release Solution 10 Active Inputs 6 1 Additional Active Input Qty. New Licenses 1 DP Release2Me 10 Device License DP Release2Me 5 Device License
