“THE EEL” The structure of the poem is triplet. Every line rhymes with the other lines. Line 1 has 4 syllables, line 2 has 4 syllables, and line 3 has 5 syllables. Every other syllable is stressed, except in the last line. Da DUH da DUH I don’t mind eels Da DUH da DUH Except as meals Da da DUH da da. And the way they feels.
