Cut out and glue the heading to the top. Yes, you can just write it if that’s easier for you. Cut out each piece separately being careful to leave the lightning bolt attached! Glue the tabs down so that you can fold the doors open and they meet in the middle. You should save space down below for other notes!

Definition: a struggle between opposing forces or characters a story can have several conflicts the main conflict is central to the plot and is usually resolved by the end of the story

Two Main Types of Conflict
Internal Conflict: External Conflict: takes place inside a character’s mind or heart sometimes involves a decision takes place between a character and something outside the character outside forces = nature, an event/situation, or another character

Building the IAN foldable
Cut the individual triangles out and glue them into your IAN as FOLDABLES. Don’t glue it all the way down! You know who I’m talking to… We will NOT be coloring. Be sure to title your page!

Man vs. Self (Internal) A struggle between man and his own feelings, conscience, or fears! Example: Officer Delinko knows the owls are there, but doesn’t want to risk his job.

A struggle between a character and the laws or beliefs of a group. Example: Mullett Fingers is required by law to be in school, but his abusive home life makes that impossible.
